Biography
Okhunov Alisher Oripovich, MD, Professor, Head of the Department of General and Pediatric Surgery. It is considered one of the first in our country to deal with the problem of metabolic surgery at a fundamental level. His first researches were aimed at studying the features of endothelial dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes complicated by micro- and macroangiopathy. He received 8 copyright certificates for these studies.
