Haleama Al Sabbah is an Associate Professor and Chair of Health Sciences Department at Zayed University in Dubai. She completed her Ph.D in Public Health Nutrition (Ph.D in Medical Sciences) in 2008 from the Faculty of Medicine, Gent University, Belgium. She awarded a doctoral scholarship from Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC). Her Ph.D study was part of the National Study of the Palestinian Health Behaviors in School-aged Children (HBSC-2004). Fulbright Senior Visiting Scholar and did Post-Doctoral studies in Public Health and Nutrition at Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Center, Tufts University, Boston, USA from 2011 to 2012. Haleama Al Sabbah served as the director of Public Health Department, Faculty of Medicine, An-Najah University, Palestine from 2009 to 2013. Published numerous numbers of articles in scientific journals and served as an editorial board member and reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. Participated in many conferences, courses and research studies in all over the world, including Europe, USA, Canada, West Africa and some Arab countries. Haleama Al Sabbah first degree in Public Health Nutrition from the Faculty of Medicine/ Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 1990. She worked as a nutritionist in a number of hospitals in Amman, Jordan and then at Amman University. From 1995 to 1998, She worked at the Red Crescent Society Maternity Hospital in Ramallah. In 1997, awarded a scholarship for postgraduate masters level study in Public Health at the Community Health Institute, Birzeit University, Palestine. In 1998, awarded scholarship for a Master of Philosophy in International Community Health and Nutrition in the Faculty of Medicine at Oslo University, Norway. Her Master’s thesis title was “Diabetes Self-Management in Rural Palestinian Community.

Professor Dr Ibrahim El- Bayoumy holds bachelor of medicine and surgery (Tanta faculty of medicine-Egypt,1989),then he earned his master degree in public health, preventive and social medicine (Tanta faculty of medicine-Egypt1996),and MD, PhD in public health ,preventive and social medicine 2003 from Tanta faculty of medicine-Egypt and McGill faculty of medicine –Montreal -Canada in division of clinical epidemiology in Royal Victoria hospital through double channel system as scholarship from ministry of education-Egypt. He is a full professor of public health and community medicine in Tanta faculty of medicine-Egypt since November 2016. Now he is working in the ministry of health in Kuwait as a consultant of public health and preventive medicine. Dr. El Bayoumy has published many research works in international journals, he is interested in research in the epidemiology of infectious diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, brucellosis and infectious hepatitis, he is interested in the epidemiology of chronic diseases like diabetes mellitus and its health economics, obesity and cancer and pharmacoepidemiology. He is a reviewer of many national and international journals. He has great interest also in childhood obesity and has written a chapter on childhood obesity in a book published by Nova publishers in the USA. He has obtained a post-graduate Master degree is diabetes care and education-Dundee faculty of medicine-Scotland –UK October 2015. He was invited speaker in many international conferences in China, South Korea, Japan, and Kuwait

Dr.Guillermo Dieuzeide is a physician, doctorate in Medicine by the University of Buenos Aires. His thesis was based on the issue of diabetic nephropathy. He is an endocrinology specialist and his main field of research has been diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular illness in diabetes and metabolic syndrome. Now he is chief of the Department of Internal Medicine and the Service of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism in the Ntra Sra del Carmen Chacabuco in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a professor at the Favaloro University in the City of Buenos Aires.

Dr. Mohammad Talebpour was born at Tehran, Iran, 1964. He passed general doctorate and general surgery in Tehran University of Medical science (TUMS) from 1982 to 1993. He has started basic laparoscopy from 1994. He passed active fellowship of advanced laparoscopy at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, UK under supervision of Prof Cuschieri and at IRCAD Center under supervision of Prof Marescaw and Prof Leroy at 1999. He has started advanced laparoscopy from 2000 including bariatric surgery. He introduced gastric plication as the new novel physiologic restrictive bariatric method at 2000 and has the most experience in this field during 18 years with about 2000 cases. He is associate Prof and head of laparoscopic ward in TUMS, Sina Hospital, and Tehran, Iran. He is a member of IFSO, IEF, IAS and Management Committee of Minimally Invasive Surgery Association. He is a delegate of Iranian IFSO branch. He has published 25 papers, presented up to 100 oral lectures and was invited speaker in 18 international meetings.

Dr. Cemile Aydın is an Internal Medicine Specialist with expertise in diabetes and obesity. She earned her medical degree in Hacettepe Medical Faculty in Ankara and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Ankara Numune Research and Training Hospital. Dr. Aydın completed German Freud University Healthy Nutrition and Life Coaching Certification Programme. Dr. Aydın serves as an author for a widely-used, national online Health Journal Pharmetic. She authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She has made many presentations on The Role of Weight Management as a Key Diabetes Treatment and Obesity Management in National Obesity and Diabetes Congresses in Turkey. She has capability to handle the dietary and nutrition departments, conducting training programs for both bachelor and master degree students and for those who are preparing for registered dietitian exam (RD), supervising and directing assistant dietitians, assisting doctors and college students for various research programs, teaching, counseling, menu planning for Rhyles tube feeding, jejunostomy feeding planning enteral and parenteral feeds for critical care and ventilated patients and therapeutic diets.

Dr Prakash Kondekar is a Head of the Department of Naturopathy Yoga and Bowen Therapy Technique in Purohit Hospital Mumbai. Since December 1994, he has successfully treated more than 1000 patients for many ailments including hyperthyroidism, Bulimia and Anorexia Nervosa. He is also a Professor with University of Mumbai, India. Okhunov Alisher Oripovich, MD, Professor, Head of the Department of General and Pediatric Surgery. It is considered one of the first in our country to deal with the problem of metabolic surgery at a fundamental level. His first researches were aimed at studying the features of endothelial dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes complicated by micro- and macroangiopathy. He received 8 copyright certificates for these studies.
